ABOUT

Hi, I'm Tia Nolena,

I'm from NY and grew up with Canada and NYC very close. When I came to the South, I wanted to stay true to myself and never forget all of the little things that made me who I am today. My essence, my attitude, my dreams and goals were formed from my childhood experiences. Little trips to the New York Cit and dreaming of the beauty, peace, and spirit of Hudson River never and will never leave me. I fell in love with both the Hudson River and Hudson Bay as a young girl and wanted to find/recreate things and places that remind me of home.

Plot Twist! Most recently, my tribe and I were given the opportunity to live in NY, Canada. We ran with the chance to get back and continue our journey through eternity.

So here, you will find the all of the little things that have captured my heart and continue to... thus creating

Her Hudson Bay.

And newly, Sa Baie d'Hudson (my emerging beauty venture)!

I created this blog not only to reach new people that I would normally that not be able to interact with on a daily basis but to also stay in contact with my tribes in my homes away form home. Being able to share our highs and lows, even if through blogging has been a true blessing.

I am currently a post bacc pre med student with a great interest in public health concentrating on epidemiology.

Being a humanitarian my focus is to share information on a vast variety of social concerns and limitations. Medicine has stolen my heart so my inevitably I will post from a medical, scientific and public health standpoint.

On the lineup are also my favorite yummy recipes, vaca spots, staycation rituals, comfy ideas for home, style tips, health and wellness "can't live withouts" and interesting books/articles, that any well versed individual would deem necessary for coping, rationalizing and living comfortably in our own skin.

To promote Self Love is my mission.

I would love to inspire and help cultivate the beautiful qualities we were all born with, but may not be able to tap into because the of the daily stresses or distractions of life.
Hopefully you will find that beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder and that everything you touch can certainly turn to gold, with a lot of Faith and just a little *fairy dust*... I mean a good heart, good character, compassion, and soul, that is!
